The Para Commando is a combat knife built on the B2005 platform. The length of 31.3cm makes it ideal for use as a Field Knife. A distinguishing factor from other manufacturers' combat knives is the wire cutter, which enables the user to overcome barbed or razor wire. The Eickhorn Professional Bayonet Steel Blade (53HRC) is heat treated for maximum toughness, making the Para Commando moderately suitable for prying, capable of taking higher loads before snapping compared to the vast majority of combat knives.

To inhibit corrosion, the blade and hand guard feature a Kalgard coating. The Glass-Reinforced Nylon handle fits the hand comfortably and enables a safe grip for all tasks. The blade is partially serrated to improve cutting performance in tough and fibrous materials. The GRN sheath and belt system fit all US MOLLE and Bundeswehr IDZ systems, and features a diamond sharpening plate.
