The Provocator series was born out of the want to integrate the advantages of the PRT into a large, stable EDC Knife. Slightly modified PRT blade designs cover a large spectrum of use-cases. The Ricasso enables the so-called "wide-forward grip", allowing the index finger to rest on the blade root risk-free, enabling fine work.

Variants with Pohl One blade are also available.

The 4mm Eickhorn Professional Plus blade is Kalgard-coated. The straight edge makes sharpening easy, even for inexperienced users. Optionally, serrations may be added to the blade to make cutting fibrous materials, like safety belts or ropes, easier.

The ambidextrous Thumb Stud and flipper tab enable easy opening of the blade, even with gloves. Alternatively, a version with a nail nick and lacking the flipper tab is available for jurisdictions where carrying one-handed knives is prohibited.

Two hardened 1.5mm stainless steel liners, 4mm thick G10 or aluminium scales, as well as an aluminium spacer ensure stability even under high loads. A belt-clip held by two torx screws ensures the Provocator is always ready for deployment from the tip-up position.
